Kesgrave Community Centre
Sunday 27th August 2006

This was our most successful event to date. The venue, Kesgrave Community Centre, is a superb place to hold any kind of event.
The hall was packed and everyone had a great time. As for the disco we would recommend them to anyone, as they are not only brilliant but also extremely nice people operating it. So if you need a disco we highly recommend A.D.H Entertainments www.discofx.co.uk 01473310553. They are the best in the business.
The evening was also made even more special by Fiona, Bethany's carer, who enchanted us all with her singing and her enthusiasm in helping make the evening the success it was, so many thanks to her.
As usual, we had our faithful crowd who never fail to support us, and we owe them a debt of gratitude.
We were also honoured with the presence of Addenbrooke's Fundraiser Trudie Harper, who gave a speech on the needs of the special care unit at the hospital. Trudie also went around the hall selling raffle tickets, the proceeds of which we will be donating to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit.
If anyone has any comments to make regarding the event please e-mail us. Also if you would like to make any suggestions for next years, yet to be announced, event please feel free to do so.
Sincere thanks to all who attended making it a special evening.

The Elizabeth Hotel, Copdock, Ipswich
Thursday 20th October 2005
About 200 people attended The Elizabeth Hotel, Copdock for an enjoyable evening. The evening began with a duo called Mixjer, followed by the great group Just Blues, (the bass player Gary being Bethany's uncle!). The drummer Sandy was instrumental in arranging the evenings entertainment and venue. The main attraction was naturally Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band who quite frankly brought the house down. The dance floor was packed with everyone having a great time. The main prize in the raffle was a guitar, which was won by a member of the Ram Jam Band. He immediately put the guitar up for auction and was bought by a member of the duo Mixjer!!! The evening raised in the region of a thousand pounds for Bethany's fund, so thank you to all involved.

If you are having an event to raise money for Bethany, please let us know and we can add it to our event list.
